Derek Jarman is a fucking icon and in his last days he made a work to reflect his failing eyesight. All he could see was shades of blue, so here’s his testament to what tantamounts to his vision. Yeah, serious art should be taken seriously, and we should all respect process, but this soliloquy is perhaps more poignant and personal than most anything ever put to screen.
