Braindead Studios and film programmer Jeff Bowers present: “Sad Sacks & Sing-Alongs,” an idiosyncratic selection of short films about emotionally stunted men and their various pursuits (usually artistic) to find meaning. This will be the LA premiere of Braindead Studios produced “Write A Song About Heartache” directed by Jonny Look and starring Whitmer Thomas. Inspiration comes from anywhere and everywhere. A little pain, a little worm and a whole lotta song. Plus a bunch of shorts celebrating the big ol’ wheel of life from Opry grand stage to the intimate moments we each share.

Come early (6pm) to Braindead’s backyard, where we’ll be spinning some country music oddities and have props displayed from the movie for your perusal.
