A weekend getaway gets out of hand for Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis. Davis has just about had it with her shitty husband, Shooter McGavin, and the two book it after killing some asshole outside a bar. They then head out on the dusty road with good cop Harvey Keitel trying to talk them down. They liberate themselves from the shackles of our dumb society by way of drinking tiny bottles of booze, driving a sick car and fucking young Brad Pitt – the duo find strength and resilience through sticking together, and sticking together is what good waffles do.
