Greenaway formalises sex and decomposition in a beautifully dressed and coloured series of almost sculptural paintings (did that make any sense?) Look, he’s the goddamn master, you need to see this work. It’s serious cinema sure, but it’s got a pretty wry grin like a cheshire cat of some variety.
