Hey, big surprise here, but once again Alain Delon is smoking hot and wearing his noir outfit in a taught, tight, thriller from master Melville. Doomed from the get-go, but cool and stylishé as they come. When the guns come, you can fight or run, but sometimes you just let the cig hang and you blow smoke in their faces.
