An art school dropout that found their way back to painting after nearly 20 years in the music industry, Kerosene turned the pervasive anxiety of our times into their creative fuel. What comes through so powerfully is the raw and striking style of an artist that needs this outlet. These works are both joyful and humorous, dark with serious pop. The Repo Man series sprang from the thrill of rediscovering a dormant talent through the love of a favorite movie that touched on punk culture, fantasy and Los Angeles, the artists adopted home. It’s an iconic cult classic about outsiders dripping with black comedy and science fiction.
