I HATED musicals as a kid. An Ex left me her VHS copy of this film though, and i watched it massively hungover at 1pm one day and my eyes were fully opened to the magic of the genre. Holy fucking shit, this IS movie magic. Gene Kelly is a dreamboat, Debbie Reynolds is a charmer, and that other guy does a backflip off a wall. Perfecto!
