Back on the Kubricks. This is as hardboiled a noir as they come, it’s basically got a rock for a yolk. A bunch of baddies scheme to get their grubby mitts on the racetrack loot, but things don’t go as planned. Sterling Hayden kinda reminds me of Zeus a bit, you know what I mean?
